My husband, my daughter and I stayed in the family room. The service was friendly, the breakfast was amazing and it was a lovely, central visit to Bridlington. We hope to visit again the next time we are in the area.

Brilliant value for money. Very crisp and clean, simply furnished in a central location. A whole lot of decorating has been done whilst in their tenure. And then you'll be set up for the day with a belt buster of a breakfast! The Chimes ticked all our boxes for a weekend away

This is a lovely little guesthouse and my wife and I were made very welcome from the moment we checked in. Andy and Gail have recently taken over and have done a great job in decorating and refurbishing this establishment to a high standard. Our room had new furniture a new bed and carpets and was extremely comfortable

Stayed here a couple of times now, very pleased with the overall standard of the accommodation. Very clean and recently refurbished. A lovely family run Guest House. Very good english breakfast. Would deffinately recommend a stay here.

Stayed one night in January the room was very clean and tidy and the bed was really comfortable. Gail and Andy were very friendly and accommodating. In the morning the breakfast they served up was great. I would recommend the chimes to anybody.I will be staying again at the chimes in the future.

The Chimes is great value for money. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is superb. We have stayed here twice so far and loved every minute of it. Andy and Gail are very friendly and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. We would not hesitate to recommend this guest house to all our friends.

The chimes Guest house was nice and lovely and the beds were comfy and the breakfast was lovely I would come back again I would recommend it any one who wants a nice break Andy and Gail are nice and friendly there make you feel welcome hope too come back next year :) thank you so much Jamie Hetherington

Went Saturday for a nights stay, arrived around 2pm and was pleasantly greeted by Gail & Andy, the room was clean, well presented and big enough for what 3 of us needed. After going out all afternoon/night, we came back and got a good nights sleep, due to the beds being spot on.

Stayed last year and had a great time although Gail and Andy had just moved in,but enjoyed it so much due to its handy location that we stayed again This time just bed and breakfast but happy to say the room was great and well worth the money.Superb breakfast and even got black pudding which wasn't on the menu.

After considering Whitby my wife suggested Bridlington just down the coast and all the guest houses nearly half the price

My wife and two kids opted for the family room at the Chimes and was over whelmed at both the level of accommodation at the price along with the great welcome from Andrew and Gayle.Nothing was to much trouble and gave us suggestions on where best to visit in the area.We opted for the half board and found the food to be very good traditional fare with my wife requesting Cumberland sausage for tea of which Andrew went out to buy specifically for her ! All in all a great little guest house in a unspoilt hidden gem of a resort. Will be back in October and well worth a visit. Frank and Sue Charnley.

What a lovely guest house with brilliant hosts, Andy and Gail are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed here on Monday 11/08, at short notice (monday afternoon around 4:30) we called and asked for rooms to accommodate 8 adults aged 18-45, they had our rooms ready to check in to by 6pm! The rooms were comfortable and clean, you cant fault them at all. The breakfast was lovely, all local produce and a good size too, most of us couldnt quite finish it! We will definately stay here again and will recommend it to friends. Thanks very much Andy and Gail!

Stayed August 2014, travelled with family

We stayed with Andy and Gail for two nights in September 2014 .

The welcome we received was fantastic nothing was to much trouble. After settling in to our spacious and comfortable room Andy and Gail gave me and my wife advice on some very nice restaurants in the area.

The full English breakfast was superb all made with quality ingredients. A very pleasurable stay with fantastic hosts once again thanks Andy and Gail.
